Capri’s picturesque, cove-studded coastline attracts a large number of yachts in the summer.
8. Whitsunday Islands, Australia
The Whitsunday Islands, located along the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are Australia’s take on the conventional tropical island fantasy. 74 gorgeous islands formed by peaks of drowned hills rising above the beautifully blue Coral Sea. Six national parks protect the fragile ecosystem, and hiking trails allow visitors to visit parts of the islands untouched.

The Phi Phi islands are a six-island archipelago, with Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh serving as the main islands. These picture-perfect islands are a 45-minute speedboat ride from either Phuket or Krabi, ideal tropical retreats in Southeast Asia. Pristine beaches & vibrant turquoise waters teaming with colorful marine life may all be found on Phi Phi. You will stay at Phi Phi Don, but you must visit Maya Bay (think “The Beach” with Leonardo Decaprio).
Seychelles is an island nation in the western Indian Ocean that consists of approximately 115 islands with lush tropical vegetation, stunning beaches, and a diverse marine life. Almost half of the land area of these equatorial islands is protected, and many of them are located within fish-rich marine sanctuaries with outstanding diving and snorkeling opportunities.
The country’s distinctive topography captivates visitors as soon as they arrive. Little jewel-like islets fringed with the whitest of soft sand, all surrounded by the clearest shallow waters imaginable. Only 200 of the islands are inhabited, with a few resorts on each atoll and others used for agriculture and industry. The Maldives is home to around 5% of the world’s reefs, which are bursting with colour thanks to the soft and hard corals that make them up. A scuba diver or snorkellers dream destination.
