Worlds Best 4 Travel
Bringing you insight to travel to wonderful destinations around the world!
The Golden Hand Bridge (Golden Bridge – Cau Vang) is a recent phenomenon which took Vietnam, the world & Instagram by storm.
Located around 36km outside the city of Danang, in Central Vietnam and perched at the top of the longest non-stop cable car ride in the world (single cable).
Opened in 2018 and part of the Ba Na Hills Amusement park. This bridges unique design is of a golden arc with two hands made of fiberglass and wire, made to look like they are holding it up.
Walking across you can feel like you are walking through the clouds & maybe even past the hands of god.
To reach the Golden Bridge you must first buy a cable car ticket at the base of the station. Tickets are 750,000 VND per adult and 600,000 VND for children under 1.4m in height. Children below 1 meter are free. This includes the whole entertainment zone at Ba Na Hills.
There are sometimes offers including a meal at one of the restaurants up top. But we would advise against it due to the low quality buffet style food!
The bridge is only open when Ba Na Hills is open, from 7am to 10pm.
The best times to go to the Golden Hand bridge to avoid the crowds is as soon as it opens at 7am. Or, later in the afternoon, around 5pm, just before sunset. Many local visitors are heading home by then, tired and hungry!
Visiting the Golden Hand Bridge can be an amazing experience combined with the amusement park, which is perfect for kids. The cabe car ride up too is an exhilarating experience.
